Judson Colleges Harm Weber Facility in Elgin, IL, is one of the first hybrid buildings on the architectural landscape. The ventilation system will cool and heat the building 8 to 9 months of the year without using conventional HVAC system. The precast concrete is used as a thermal-mass system, in which air runs over the precast wall system from the outside to heat or cool it at night.
